I am a 23 year old Filipino-American. Born and raised in Oxnard, California, I have gone to elementary school in Port Hueneme, middle school in Camarillo, high school at Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai, and did my undergraduate at the University of California – Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in ‘Scandinavian Languages and Culture’ and ‘Political Science’. I am now undertaking my Masters in Public Affairs (M.P.A.) at Indiana University – Bloomington.
I hope to be in politics one day, using my skills to improve the bureaucracy of the nation. I love elections, redistricting politics, and the minutiae around voting. I go bowling on a regular basis and even have my own bowling shoes and ball. I used to compete in the card-playing game Bridge and hope to find a partner to develop my skills more. I can be an extremely lazy person watching hours upon hours of TV, but I love to play sports and am always down to do anything with friends. I am a schedule-freak and beyond organized…when I want to be.
For the long-term, I hope to graduate in two years and go into a job which provides me stability and a region of the country which I can handle. I want to be married by my early 30s and have kids before I turn 35.
For the short-term, I hope to continue blogging and enjoy hang out with friends while learning about the world.
